Miami Beach, FL - December 18, 2011 --- Once again, superstar DJ Tracy Young returns to Miami on New Year's Day for her spectacular must-attend Genesis party at Mansion in Miami Beach. For nine consecutive years, Tracy has created a go-to event, where people fly in from around the world to attend. Most places tend to be cold or downright wintry and nasty on New Year's Day. Not here in sunny Miami Beach, and Tracy adds even more heat and spice. Once inside Mansion, a sea of writhing, sweaty men, flashing lights, upbeat music and kinetic energy will overtake your senses. After spending the day with Tracy, you can hang out by the pool or hit the beach and lose yourself in what was and what will be.

This is Tracy's signature event where she lets it all hang out. This year Tracy adds Miami local (and hottie) DJ Kidd Madonny to open and mega-superstar songstress Deborah Cox who will be performing live.

I caught up with Tracy and had the chance to ask her a few questions and get the inside scoop on Genesis IX. Get your tickets now and don't be tardy for the party.

Sobegayinfo.com - Musically, do you have a theme for this year's event?

Tracy Young - Genesis to me is a special ritual... It's where I completely give myself musically with the sexy and chunky beats... That is what Genesis is known for... From the timeless staples to the future classics... Genesis will always be Sexy and Chunky.

Sobegayinfo.com - You and the late Vito Abate started this event. Although he's gone now, what do you think Vito would think about Genesis not only lasting this long, but also being considered one of the best parties of the year? (I always like including him - makes him still part of it).

Tracy Young - I love that you asked this because not many people know the history of Genesis and how it began. Vito Abate was a pioneer on South Beach, a dear friend and club visionary. It was an idea Vito and I came up with because we were tired of the running around New Years Eve, trying to get to the perfect destination with all the people we love by 12 AM, find parking, high ticket prices, and the list goes on, and doing everything without complications. We decided to try a morning party at Crobar the following year and expected 300 people, mostly our South Beach family. We wanted to create the New Year's experience without all of the headache. When we got to Crobar at 7 AM, the line was wrapped around the block and Crobar was packed until 5 PM. When Vito passed away, it made me think about whether I should continue this event. I did because that's what Vito would have wanted. It certainly wasn't easy because it was OUR idea and he was so special to me. I do it in his honor and every year he comes to me and says BITCH... KILL IT! So that's what I try to do. Nine years later I know he is looking down every New Years running his mouth at the door and right next to me... just being Vito!

Sobegayinfo.com - Miami kind of struggled with its New Year's parties before Genesis. We had them, but they were usually produced by different people each year and none became a "destination event" until Genesis. What is it about this party that has created the "destination event" where people now come to Miami Beach to experience it?

Tracy Young - First of all, thank you for saying this. I am very fortunate to have such a following to something that I really believe in... I always want to keep Genesis intimate and personal; no big sponsors, gimmicks, and over the top productions; only the music, the people, and the chemistry.

Sobegayinfo.com - You're bringing in the super HOT Miami native Kidd Madonny this year. How will he add to the electric energy of this party?

Tracy Young - We all know how Kidd Madonny heats up a dance floor... I couldn't think of anyone else to represent Genesis better than Kidd. He understands Genesis and I am confident that he will ignite Genesis "Feroshiously".

Sobegayinfo.com - You're also bringing in superstar Deborah Cox, can you tell us more about that?

Tracy Young - Deborah is an amazing performer, a brilliant singer, a true professional and a beautiful soul. I just remixed her latest single "If It Wasn’t For Love" which she will be performing... So honestly, it was a no brainer to me!

Sobegayinfo.com - Any specific plans you have for 2012 that you would like to share with your fans?

Tracy Young - A lot of things that unfortunately I can't reveal yet... but major collaborations, productions, films, TV, and of course more music and live performances from yours truly.
