“Wondershirts” for Men Arrive in Miami

a better-looking body without all of the hard work at the gym? That is

had the opportunity to see for myself what this new “wondershirt”
could do. In colors of
white, black, blue, and grey, the shirts come in three
styles, tank (singlet), v-neck tee-shirt, and long sleeved
tee-shirt.
In an
article by David Waters
of The Sunday Times,
he professed to have shed nearly three inches off his waist by
wearing one of the “wondershirts”. I too wanted to see if my experience was anything close to
his.
Removing the shirt from the box, it looks as though it is like other
tank tops, however it has a bit of weight to it. It feels expensive. It feels well made
and sturdy. Putting it on may require a bit of practice, as it is snug,
snug by design I might add too. Once on, it is like a second skin. It moves well and breaths
which is necessary in our tropical climate. That’s good considering the material is thick and strong, not
your normal thin ribbed tank-top material. As
for losing inches like the experience of David Waters, at most I
lost one around my waist. Then again, I must admit that there isn’t much to reduce on
me in that area. I did
like how well it moves and how it feels on the skin. The pattern woven in gives it chic design with double purpose
of pulling you in and up. I
can see someone feeling a bit more erect and in tune with his
posture while wearing a wonder shirt. Worn under a suit, it may just help your presentation in an
interview or speaking in front of a group. In South Beach or Fort Lauderdale, its body-snugging style
actually fits in even if worn just by itself.
According to Corie Chung, spokesperson for
Equmen, the garments “can help every man
whether they want to make
a confident impression at work, dress for a special occasion, or
simply improve everyday ergonomics.” The shirts can maximize posture support, support core
muscles, control temperature, and visibly streamline and slim,
improving the fit of your clothes. Miami, long known for its fashion and body conscious visitors and
residents, is a perfect location for such fashion-forward garments. The stylish shirts look great worn as an undershirt or alone
with a pair of jeans for a night out.
