Eat, drink and be Mary at the MDGLCC Foundation’s
3rd Annual “Taste of Miami” culinary experience,
Saturday, January 14, 2012, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Miami
Beach Convention Center. Showcasing the mouthwatering morsels
and luscious libations of MDGLCC member food and beverage
establishments, “Taste of Miami” will be presented as a stand alone
event this year with proceeds benefitting the MDGLCC Foundation’s
Scholarship Program and the LGBT Visitor Center.
Beach is one of the hottest tourist destinations in the world and if you don’t plan ahead, you could
miss out on the best experience possible. There are various events
throughout the year that you may want to schedule in your itinerary,
or even avoid if you’re looking for a more subdued getaway. 
Film Festival will be kicking off the new year
with the HBO Latin America “GLOW” series (Gays & Lesbians On
Wednesdays) screening of “Mary Lou.” Immediately before the
screening, movie goers are invited to a pre-GLOW reception to enjoy
cocktails provided by Chambord Vodka and Herradura Tequila while
nibbling on a variety of hors d’ oeuvres.
